As hunting is a family affair we will wine and dine together to discuss the day's achievements, successes and failures.
Food served will be traditional South African dishes included wild game harvested during the hunt.
Snacks will be packed for the longer hunting days in the field or a bush barbecue will be arranged depending on the hunt and the quarry we are after.
Facilities
Naauwkloof Safaris is fully kitted to ensure that your safari is a seamless transition into the adventure of African hunting!
- • Naauwkloof has a fully equipped skinning facilities with coolrooms
- • 3 Equipped hunting vehicles as well as vehicles for pickup at OR Tambo
- • private owned 2,500 acre concession from where operations will take place
- • 1,000m runway and hangar for charter into the concession
- • Accommodation in Pretoria for the late landing flights
Being involved with both hunting and Aviation since 2008, we know what the hunter requires to enjoy the safari without worries about logistics and planning, therefore we specialize in custom safari packages tailored to the individual or group.
With a wide network of Fishing, photographic, fly away safari agents and many more the safari can be tailored to suit the adventure!
Concessions
Our concessions currently:
- • Our main concession and main base is our 2500 acre property in the Limpopo Province, situated in the Waterberg mountains. This property has been in our family since 1994 and this is from where we make magic happen. We have another 8000 acre concession in Northwest Province, with a large abundance of plainsgame and its own lodge.
- • We have access to concessions in Zimbabwe and Namibia for dangerous game hunting including elephant, buffalo, leopard, hippo, crocodile as well as plainsgame.
- • Due to the fact that we own our own charter company we can easily move between concessions in order to target selected species or to target quality trophies. This freedom of travel ensures that we can spend little time on the road and more time in the bush after our quarry.

Our Gauteng base...
As we understand logistics and the stresses of travel, we have, since 2013, housed our international clients in our tented camp in Pretoria, Gauteng. With our own pickup at OR Tambo, and wine and dine on our own premises in Gauteng, we can ensure that you as client is relaxed and ready for an early departure to the hunting grounds!
Let us take the worry out of your travel and transport when arriving at OR Tambo or when departing.
We can also arrange a helicopter trip to your hunting lodge from our base in Pretoria, making travel even less of a hassle!
